Add the Code to Your Website
Pick your platform and follow the steps
WordPress
Wix
Squarespace
Send to Web Person
1Log into your WordPress admin at yoursite.com/wp-admin
2Go to Plugins > Add New and search for "WPCode" (it's free). Install and activate it.
3Go to Code Snippets > Add Snippet
4Paste the code you copied in Step 1 into the snippet box
5Set it to run in the Header on All Pages. Activate it. Done.
The WPCode plugin method is the easiest and safest way. No theme files to edit, nothing to break.
1Log into your Wix dashboard
2Go to Settings > Advanced > Custom Code
3Click "+ Add Custom Code"
4Paste the code and name it "Schema Markup"
5Set "Place Code in" to Head and "Add Code to Pages" to All Pages
6Click Apply. Done.
1Log into your Squarespace dashboard
2Go to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection
3Paste the code in the "Header" box
4Click Save. Done.
Code Injection requires a Squarespace Business plan or higher. If you're on a Personal plan, use the "Send to Web Person" tab instead.

If someone else manages your website, copy this pre-written email and send it to them. The code is already included.

Test Your Schema Markup
Make sure Google can read it

After you've added the code to your website, test it with Google's free tool to make sure there are no errors.

Go to search.google.com/test/rich-results
Enter your website URL in the box
Click "Test URL" and wait for it to scan
You should see "LocalBusiness" detected with a green checkmark and no errors
It can take Google a few days to pick up new schema markup. If the test shows errors, double check that the full code was pasted correctly and nothing got cut off.
